Match Report by Luca Orlandi

Second league match of the season for BP Celtic after drawing the first one 2-2 with a very short squad. This time we can line up a 15-man squad, could have been 16 but unfortunately Dancho's medical card got lost in the depths of Hungarian bureaucracy.

We are playing at Panorama, that used to be our home venue a couple of years ago in the BIFL, so we feel a bit home. The opponents are Dinamo Torpedo, a team that easily won their first match 4-0, and that according to our more senior team members used to play in the BIFL years ago.

We start the match with a 4-4-1-1. The first half is very even, we struggle to always come out clean from defence and we are outnumbered in central midfield (3 vs 2), but they can't do much better than us and the few best chances are ours: Tom Bean assisted by Ortega, blocked by their keeper, and a couple of dangerous headers from corners.

In the second half we try to avoid being outnumbered in the centre, calling back either our number 10 (first Kev, then Faycel) or one of the wingers (Peti and Lewy). We start soft, some of us maybe also tired after playing the 3rd match in 7 days, and around minute 60 we concede a goal in transition. Down 1-0, instead of giving up, we find back our team spirit and we immediately start pushing to equalise.

After few minutes of pressure, Faycel finds Lewy all alone at the penalty line, and he strikes in the corner in cold blood with a dirty shot. We keep up our pressure, our game is not clean as we want but everybody is putting in a very hard work to complete the comeback (special mention for Tom Bean, who could be found fighting anywhere in the last 10 minutes, even though injured).

At minute 80 Dani Harasztos knocks in an amazing header in Marco Van Basten style (, assist by Lewy from corner (?). We end the match keeping the possession of the ball for the most of the final minutes, not giving them any chances to equalize.

All in all, it wasn't pretty, not our best match so far, but we were able to comeback from 1-0 down against quite a decent team for the BLSZ IV level. So head up, we have 4 points in 2 matches and we can only improve from now on!
