Ivan Sichevoy - Defender
An appropriate nickname for him wouldn’t be the “Mad Russian” but the “Drunken Russian”. If Celtic III plays any games before 2 in the afternoon there’s a good chance Ivan will still be in bed. It’s the matches he does make, however, that make him the outstanding player he is. With amazing control abilities Ivan sets up nearly every attack Celtic III creates. A great Russian CMF. The Spring ’10 Season awaits good things for Ivan as games will most probably be scheduled in the early afternoons. Nasdarovjia!
Làszlo Szivlasi (Ubi) - Defender
A player that was quite insecure in the beginning of the season Hungarian Ubi manages to bring a new aspect to the defense of Celtic III. This “Most Improved Player of Budapest Celtic III: Fall Season ‘09” clearly shows why he deserves the award. An occasional mistake is made here and there but when aware of this Ubi does everything capable to recover from that error. A great team player and incredibly reliable. ‘Nuff said. |

Mete Aray - Defender
The third Turkish player in the squad Mete has proven what smoking causes. Although his speed may not be quick he compensates for it in challenges. Being a rock he loves to take on the hard challenges that others don’t. It is, therefore, nothing new that he may receive a yellow card here and there (even if it means stopping the ball with the hand to prevent a goal). It’s also wonderful to have a player on the team that can make those “nasty” challenges whenever the ref has his head looking the other way; fantastic in tough situations. |

Kivanc Belentepe - Midfielder
This ex-Galatasary youth player knows the game. Turkish midfielder Kivanc is usually to be found everywhere up front. Wanting to create plays and move the game forward he isn’t afraid of taking risks. On the field his personality transforms into a player who can get quite heated up about challenges but always manages to have the last “punch”. It may be said, though, that Kivanc needs to come back occasionally as the team loses the ball and defend the midfield area.

Onur Ozkul - Midfielder
Better known as Onka this Turkish midfielder finds the “I” in the word “team”. Although assigned positions as AMF or SS this player will be helping the defense clearing up errors. It is, therefore, no surprise that he can pretty much be played anywhere on the field and create somewhat excitement. A great player with nice touches he does everything to keep the game a team effort and keep it alive whenever hopes are down.
Daniel Erdei-Brull - Midfielder
This Hungarian player is a left footer that loves to control the left half of the pitch. The long free kick Dani manages to make important crosses that reach their targets. Unfortunately he sustained an injury roughly half-way through the Fall ’09 Season and hope to see him back in action at some point during the Spring ’10 Season. Dani has an issue with his temper when things don’t go his way but will eventually fall back to the idea of a game that requires teamwork and where never an individual is to blame. |
|
Simon - Midfielder
The curly haired German is a classic example of an overall player. He has a little bit of everything; ball control, speed, pass and shot accuracy etc. Preferred on the midfield wings he can play anywhere in the midfield if needed. Although he doesn’t realize himself yet he would also make for an outstanding side-back. He has a great team spirit and attempts as often as possible to keep the ball low and make passes stick. |
|
Seong Jeon Kim - Midfield
Another one of the gang Seong is the 5th S-Korean player that Celtic III has to offer. He has not been able to attend many games in the Fall ’09 Season due to “exams” he had to study for but has promised to make a better effort to attend the Spring ’10 Season. He’s a short player but has a good accuracy when dribbling. With his very nice ball control this player can cause for a great deal of threat in the forward midfield and with his great midfielders mentality Seong offers good options for Celtic III. |
|
Han Soo Bin - Midfield
After “Tunzo” (aka: Cho Kye Jun) joined the squad it was only soon after that more S-Koreans followed. Han Soo Bin is one of them. As driver for the other S-Korean players he comes to every practice prepared and is always eager to get out on the field and give it his best. He isn’t afraid of a challenge and keeping ball possession is his number 1 priority. His speed can definitely be improved and, as with many other players, holding his position is also something that needs to be paid attention to. |

|
Norbert Ando - Forward
One of the few natives Norbert (aka Norbi) is one of the two Hungarian strikers Celtic III has (alongside Daniel Dan) to offer. His height isn’t exactly ideal for going into challenges when balls are kicked deeply but he definitely is a great definition of team play. Although he lacks some control on the ball he is by far one of the most motivated to play. Attending all the games and never arguing about subbing Norbert is a valuable relief striker. |
|
Ihn Wung Jeon (Glenn) - Forward
This S-Korean player must think of something vengeful when he kicks a ball. With his cannon-like shots he can create quite a threat as a midfielder. Always alongside his comrades Glenn is a team player that has a positive attitude about the game play and tries to open up space. He’s a great overall player that will do everything he can to hold his position and create chances. |
|
Chris - Midfielder
The S-Korean who lived in Canada Chris brings an icy touch to the game. Built like a solid rock he has great midfield/defensive potential. No matter where he is played a challenge doesn’t bother him and likes to get his foot to the ball as much as he can. It must be a S-Korean thing because also Chris can kick a ball with an immense force. The S-Koreans are a unified group of individuals that show why they made the semi-finals in the 2002 World Cup. |
