Rob Longworth - central defender
'Canadian Rob' as he is known, since you just read this, was actually born the same time as the late Ferenc Puskas, but through the running of the club treasury duties, his popular restaurants and his family, not to mention marshalling the Celtic defence - he has managed to keep himself in tip-top condition and can still show the little nippers in the team a thing or two in training.
Rob is everpresent in the Celtic backline and what he lacks in pace he more than makes up for in his reading of the game. |
|
Jim Luby - defender
The Lubester is comfortable discussing his love of all things Coventry City FC. Jim has unfortunately been hit with a career-threatening injury at the start of this season but will be doing everything possible to make a cameo appearance at some stage of the season. Meanwhile he marshals the troops as manager of the team.

Kieran Fahy - left/right midfielder
One of the original members of the Budapest Celtic team left in the squad and still a regular in the team, continues to defy logic with tireless running. So tireless in fact, that if he is brought off for a breather you can guarantee he will have some how found his way back onto the pitch subbing some poor unsuspecting guy after only two minutes!
Kieran comes up with a few important goals and assists and like a good wine is getting better with age.
Nigel Killeen - left/right midfielder
The tricky Irish winger arrived at the club two years ago with no children and no temper. Two years on, Niggly Nigel has 2 little'uns and a nack of snapping at the ref, the opposition and more recently his own players!
Nigel has been coming into his own this season as well as causing the defences trouble with his crossing, he has developed a left foot which has been known to score some outstanding goals. |

Leo Kronberger - Defender/Left Midfielder

Leo “The Little General” Kronberger spent several years causing mayhem in The Austrian army, before arriving at Celtic last summer. An extremely quick learner, Leo only took up the beautiful game a few short years ago, after flirting with the idea of being an American footballer. Noted for his crossing and set-piece ability, Leo has established himself as an influential member of the Celtic squad.
Philipp Mayanne-Mantilla - Midfielder

|
Ben Heim - Defender/Midfielder

|
Patrick Köhn - Midfielder

|
Mark Tansey - Midfielder

Taka - Midfielder
The “lone” ranger now (after Yoshi was promoted to Celtic I) he is the only Japanese player on our team. Even though it’s hard for him to mark someone on height he can easily make up for it in speed. Just like Cho Kye Jun Taka has amazing running abilities. Although not as fast he manages to play a solid roll in the defense by switching the play in the snap of a finger.
Nándor Vakulya - Midfielder
|
|
Vasea Andreivici Griu - Midfielder
Andy O' Dwyer - Striker The Irish talisman only arrived at Celtic last summer but his vigorous displays and regular goals mean he is universally admired at the club.
|
|
Dani Dán - Striker Daniel Dan, the veteran of our team, fights as if he were younger then all of us. With his team moral & spirits always being at an all-time high this player brings a positive atmosphere to the group. Just like on the field Daniel Dan off the field brings about smiles and an out-going mood. He may also be known as the person that scores the most improbable goals around. Overall a great asset to the team.

Tunzo (Cho Kye Jun) - Striker
South-Korean Kickboxing champion Cho Kye Jun makes football look easy. With his lighting fast speed this player can outrun anyone in his way. His kickboxing skills are definitely on display when Tunzo is on an attack. It’s no wonder this player was awarded “Top Goal scorer of Budapest Celtic III: Fall Season ‘09”. The most powerful kick of the team he has averaged two goals per game. Although he doesn’t talk too much he’s a great striker and a great team player.
